The adhesive bridge is an alternative method of restoring lost tooth.
The adhesive bridge is a sculpting of the missing tooth with a composite (the material of which the white fillings are made) using special fibers by which the restoration is attached to the adjacent teeth. It is preferred when the adjacent teeth are healthy and thus avoiding their abrasion, or when an implant is planned, and there is time from the removal of the tooth until it is placed that should pass.
It is not recommended in case of absence of more than one tooth, in severely destroyed adjacent teeth or in harmful habits such as gnashing and grinding of teeth.
The advantage of this method is that this construction can be repaired when needed, unlike a metal-ceramic bridge that needs to be completely replaced by a new one. Another advantage is that the recovery of a missing tooth by this method is done in just one visit.
